Family Fun Adventure: Adrenalin Rush for All the Family!

Family Fun Adventure: Adrenalin Rush for All the Family! If you are up for family fun adventure and feel the need for speed, then we recommend some phenomenal freefalling at one of the UK family top destinations: Airkix at Xscape in Milton Keynes.

You could win a flying experience at Airkix, completely free! See below for details.

Why?

The Airkix indoor skydiving experience comes with an awesome adrenaline high, guaranteed to satisfy anybody's thirst for thrills.

What?

Just like jumping out of an aircraft, you will actually be flying - in a wind tunnel 12ft in diameter and 35 feet tall with wind speeds of up to 130mph. What we love about Airkix is that there’s no jumping, plunging, plummeting or hurtling. It's simple and safe - and, if done regularly, is a fantastic form of exercise that improves core flexibility and general level of fitness. Whether it’s making flying dreams come true, setting corporate challenges, finding the perfect gift idea, getting a group of friends together or flying with the family, the Airkix effect is one you’ll never forget. As Simon Ward, Chief Executive of Airkix, says: 'with an average satisfaction ratio of over 95%, you can see why we call it ‘The Smile Factory’; everyone leaves with a grin on their face talking at twice normal speed!'

After your Airkix flight you have the option of taking home a DVD and pictures of your freefalling adventure to share with friends and family. And because flying is such an addictive thing, Airkix makes it more challenging each time you return, with different packages and skill levels! Returning customers also get incremental admission fee discounts.

How?

Here's how it works: the Airkix wind tunnel simulates the speed and wind resistantce that you'd experience in a real free-fall. As you lean forward into the airflow, this carefully-engineered environment cushions the body, naturally elevating it to a horizontal flying position. Then you're freefalling - in a controlled and fun indoor environment!

Who?

Anyone from age 5 to 105 can fly. You’ll be given all the gear and a comprehensive training brief from a highly skilled International Bodyflight Association instructor. There is a maximum weight, however, of 18 stone. Anyone in reasonable health and fitness can fly but there is a checklist of criteria. Unaccompanied under-18s also require signed permission from a parent or guardian. See www.airkix.com for further information.

Something special!
