Planning luxury family holidaysBecasue everyone enjoys spending family holidays abroad, and everyone deserves to get away from it all, this is our guide to planning luxury family holidays:

Whether you fancy a holiday this summer, this spring, or this autumn, think about planning some luxury family holidays. We can show you how to plan effective family holidays abroad from the comfort of your sofa.

Holidays are the best time for relaxing and unwinding after going through a hectic routine throughout the year. It's really the only quality time you can have with your loved ones, so we know you want to make it count. With these tips and tricks, you'll be able to embark upon a full-blown luxury holiday with more money in your pocket and more time on your hands.

1) Decide your destination. Even if it's just a general area, it's a good starting point. You could just pick one out of a hat, if you're not sure: if you're disappointed with your choice, you'll know which places you prefer!

2) Call around. Call the hotlines of UK travel agencies and tell them where you're interested in going, and what type of holiday you'd like (romance, family fun, etc) and see what prices they can offer you for package deals. Work out whether you would spend more on flights or on a hotel.

3) Do your own research. If you're the type of person that isn't bothered by budget flights, they make a brilliant way to save money on your trip. Check the websites of airline providers like EasyJet, BMIBaby and RyanAir to research this. Find out the cheapest routes that they run to your holiday area of choice, and think about holidaying in one of these spots.

4) Before you start searching for hotels, research the place you've chosen and see whether it will be easy on your wallet. If it's full of tourists, chances are that it won't be. Holidays are much more relaxig when you get away from the hustle and bustle, so consider the possibility of flying to one area, renting a car and driving out to the countryside, or a small town.

5) Order brochures. We've found a huge collection of brochures that you can receive totally free, showcasing holidays in the global area of your choice. With the facts and information provided in these brochures, as well as the hotels and prices they include, you'll be able to compare three sets of data: from the travel agents', from your own research, and from brochures.

6) Choose the most cost-effective option. If this is not the travel agent's pick (which it almost always isn't), give them a call back, and challenge them to lower their prices.

7) Re-assess your options, and start booking your holiday.
